ANOTHER FUN WEEKEND

It has been raining non stop for the past 8 months. This weekend we finally get a warm sunny day, and we took full advantage of it! It took some hunting, but we found a place South of Salem that does horseback rides. Blake got a full on 30 minute lesson on how to ride his horse (Shadow) before we went out on our 60 minute ride. He loved it!

This was the view from the rear

Stopping for a bite to eat.

On our way home from the horse ride, we stopped at the Woodburn Tulip Festivle. Thousands of colorful tulips and plenty of food and entertainment for the whole family.

He goes on a spending spree and buys up all of the properties (but I guess that's the name of the game...)

Our 2nd annual Easter Brunch at Camas Meadows Golf Corse. All you can eat buffet + Easter egg hunt for the kid-o.

One of these years we will have a sunny Easter so we can do the egg hunt outside. But for now its all done in the golf shop. I told Blake to put some golf balls in his bag, but he was too focused on jelly beans...

OREGON COAST AQUARIUM

This weekend we took a little road trip down to the Oregon Coast Aquarium to enjoy some sunshine.
"Sorry Buddy, you'll have to wait in the car."
Crossing over the Newport bridge we see a real live pirate ship. It was actually firing their cannons at another pirate ship. Blake thought it was awesome, but he's pretty sure they won't let a boy on a pirate ship. :)
The Black Pearl making a visit to the Oregon Coast.
"Please don't let this crab eat me"
In the belly of the beast
The shark tank was our favorite. All kinds of sharks and sting rays.
Blake knew more about these birds than the lady giving the presentation. He's got a thing for birds.
We couldn't leave Seaside without getting a healthy snack.
We stopped at the arcade in Seaside and Blake won more than 400 tickets. The teeth were one of his many purchases.
Bumper car King!
Is a Jelly Fish really a Fish?
