FUN IN THE SUN

Bike ride through downtown Portland on a 75 degree day!

This is an awesome bike.  Blake can go anywhere I go, and as fast as I want. 

Got some new Kayaks and took em out for a test run.

EASTER

Have you ever seen a more psycho looking Easter bunny?  Wow!  

We found him hanging out in the gardening center at Walmart...

Blake's new best friend Preston invited him to go on an Easter egg hunt at his neighborhood.

After eating a month's worth of candy at the park, we came home and made little Easter bunny hutches.  Put a jelly bean on the house, put one in the mouth, one on the house, two in the mouth...

FIRE

We have a little fire pit in our backyard.  Well the other night I thought it would be fun to light a fire.  Nice little father / son activity.  But Blake can't light a fire without something to roast.  Since there were no marshmellows or hot dogs in the house, we used what we could find, maple flavored breakfast sausages...  Blake touched one of them to the fire, and then put it in his mouth (still cold), and he loved it.  The second two were roasted properly by me, but eaten by him. :)

WEDDING

Weddings... I don't know why people still do it. The odds are not in your favor, and its really not all its cracked up to be (I'm just a little bitter)! With that being said, my little brother Steven got married a couple of weeks ago, and I wish him the best of luck! :)

BEACH TRIP

We just had the first sunny day of the year, so we had to run off to the beach.  It was about 62 degrees at the beach, and we had a blast!  We went to Short Sands, a favorite spot of mine just between Tillimook and Cannon Beach.
