DISNEYLAND

I took Blake down to Disneyland last week, and he loved it! I had to make him go on Pirates of the Caribbean against his will, but in the end I think he liked it (those darn pirates look too real!). His favorite ride was Its a Small World. Can't get that damn song out of my head! :)

CALIFORNIA BEACH

We went on down to Huntington Beach to soak up some sun & get Blake out in the waves. I sent him out on the boogie board to catch some shore breakers in, and he loved it.

We also made a trip down the street to Newport Beach to watch the sunset and chase the seagulls. Blake was running strong the whole day, and when we finally sat down for a minute, he crashed! It was a great way to end the day.

KAYAKING

We just had about 7 days in a row of 80 deg sun. But the day I decide to take the kayaks out on the lake it decides to rain. Oh well, I'm not going to let it stop my plans!

CAROLINA LIAR'S

The other day I was driving down to Eugene (2 hours away), and I got bored along the way.  So I started playing around with my phone and I entered a contest on the radio.  Well the next week I got an email that said I won 2 tickets to a private show with Carolina Liars at the new Aloft Hotel in Portland.  It was awesome!  There were about 50 people there, it was catered, and the band sounded really good live!  Thanks 105.1 The Buzz!
